It is somewhat remind me of horror movies. but in a good way. Silent forest. the sound of crackling branches. the whispering wind. feels like the forest talking to itself.
not ur typical forest if u live at khatulistiwa.
Muhammad Nur Taufik (30/01/2018 02:06)
Nice place. Good spot for photography. In the end of the spot you can find “gardu pandang” you can fly drone and take beautiful footage there. No high tree anymore so you can fly safely

Views are good, for me around 3pm is the best time to visit this place. Access is hard with a lot of steep roads – NOT recommended for early drivers with minimal skill. There are only a small number of shelter to cover the visitors from rain. The ticket is very cheap.

This place has beautiful scenery and peaceful ambiance. You could bring foods and have a picnic with your family and friends.
The ticket price are very cheap for popular tourist destination. You could rent a hammock and have a nap under pine trees, it is only 10-20k for one hammock.
There are several shop and cafe nearby, and the prices not too expensive, only a little difference with standard price.
You can take beautiful picture or just enjoy the nature. This place is also near several other tourist attractions like fruit garden, hobbit house, thousand stones, etc.
Tyas Restu (25/05/2017 03:38)

Pine forest close to Jogja, a perfect place for weekend. You can make a camp here or just sleep on hammock. There are two view spots on the tree to take photos. Quiet and calm.
Yoshua T.H. (24/01/2017 09:43)
I do really enjoy visiting here. my friend and I went up to a tree, they provide a stair, my friend said it was beautiful from top but scary as the wind made the tree a little bit shaky.
you should go with your loved one, because it really made me enjoy it even more
maria renny (12/01/2017 16:23)
Offered a well kept outdoor picnic area. Very crowded during holiday season. Located away from the busy city
Rasda Aroza (30/12/2016 13:23)
One of my f@vorite place in Yogyakarta. Really recomended for photography and also prewed photo. The situation was quiet that makes your brain calm down. There was mini flowery garden with a very cheerful flower. Color of the soil was red that makes it unique. This place has been managed properly.
Dede Tisno (07/12/2016 07:48)

It’s cooler here on a hot day, and the air is clear and fresh. Parking fee for motorcycle is IDR 3,000. There are many food stalls around the parking area.
The main forest is located on the east of the road that will also take us to Becici Peak. We can climb the tree house in the forest and have good views from there.
This pine forest can be accessed from southern route or northern route.
For the southern route, we travel through Imogiri Road that leads to Cemetry of Mataram Kings. At the last T-intersection before that cemetery, take the route to the right, and climb all the way to the pine forest (there are road signs identifying the place).
For the northern route, we start from Bukit Bintang, Patuk, and take the right turn near the police station. We’ll pass Pengger Pine Forest along the way. Then we’ll meet a relatively big intersection with a great tree in the middle of it, from which we shall continue straight, passing the way to Becici Peak before arriving in the Pine Forest.
